In Plain Sight is a collaboration of 80 artists creating an artwork to abolish migrant detention and the culture of incarceration. Conceived as a highly orchestrated media spectacle and poetic act, In Plain Sight will use skytyping, the effect of water vapor released out of planes, to spell out artist generated messages designed to inform people about the shocking number of migrant detention centers in the US.
